I qualified as a Medical Herbalist in 2005 and have since been working in busy clinics in North London and Hertfordshire.
Over the past decade I’ve developed a specialism working with women and children; with a particular interest in fertility, pregnancy, birth and the post-partum period with a new babe.
I’m dedicated to helping improve health and wellbeing, inspire confidence and foster empowerment. In my practise I use western herbal medicine, nutrition, supplements, diet and lifestyle coaching to achieve our end result.
I am also qualified in Indian Head Massage which is perfect for pregnancy and Closing the Bones with is a wonderful South American ritual to help honour the rite of passage into womanhood, motherhood or menopause.
I also qualified as a breastfeeding peer supporter, so I have a wealth of information to help breastfeeding mothers in their journey. I consider myself to be an integrative therapist, so work really well alongside other therapies, whether that be other complementary therapists or allopathic medication, so whatever the situation we can certainly get to work on improving your health with my treatments. Because all the herbal medication is tailor made to your needs, I will be able to consider your individual requirements when pulling together a prescription and treatment plan for you. Because of this, herbal medicine is excellent for use before, during and after pregnancy and when dealing with complex health concerns and for some of our younger patients!
I’m a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, the oldest professional body for herbalists in the UK and as such, I undertake Continuing Professional Development. I’m also always on the lookout for courses and can often be found researching to offer the best service to my patients.
Being passionate about health and wellbeing means that I put my all into my relationships with my patients; knowing that you’re doing better is such a massive buzz for me and so when I devise a treatment strategy it’s done with care, love and attention to detail, bespoke entirely for your needs as I want you to be feeling better and achieving wellbeing as much as you do!
