Kineseology Testing Muscle Response
Kinesiology was originally developed by an American chiropractor called George Goodheart. He found that by testing muscle response before and after he made chiropractic corrections he achieved better results for his patients.
He discovered that the strength or weakness of every muscle was connected to the health or lack of health of a specific corresponding organ.
He also determined that the indicator muscles were associated with acupuncture meridians. So, kinesiology can be seen as a blend of the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and western techniques which enable a Kinesiologist to treat you as an individual. Each person’s session is unique to them.
Kinesiology is a natural health care system which uses gentle muscle testing to evaluate many functions of the body in the structural, chemical, neurological, and biochemical realms.
Muscles that are being tested will either fire correctly which means the part of the body being tested is in balance. Muscles that do not fire correctly indicate that something is out of balance and needs correction
Imbalance may be because of an emotional disturbance, a nutritional lack, or for many reasons.
Using massage, nutrition, and contact points, Kinesiology helps with: emotions and anxieties, specific personal dietary intake and supplements for nutritional deficiencies, structural imbalances and energy blocks. Kinesiology balances the whole person, which enhances your health and well-being.
Kinesiology looks at the whole person rather than just the symptoms as quite often the root of the problem is not where pain/discomfort/symptoms lie.
For example IBS could be an emotional issue and or a food sensitivity, frequent infections could be underlying hormonal imbalances due to lack of certain nutrients and or stress, a structural/painful issue in the lower back maybe because of an imbalance in the intestines, headaches may originate from a jaw imbalance and so on.
These are some of the health issues Kinesiology may help with:
- Neck and Back pain
- Food Sensitivity Testing
- Irritable Bowel
- Weight Loss
- Joint pain
- Tired all the time
- Frequent infections/Illness
- Fears and Phobias
- Emotional/Behavioural Issues
You will notice a great difference in your symptoms after the first session and clients have often reported feeling lighter too
