Health issues often stem from microbes in your gut not working properly. These microbes can then in turn affect your liver.
The liver has multiple functions, but its main function within the digestive system is to process the nutrients absorbed from the small intestine. If you have a toxic liver, the nutritious food you eat passes straight through the body. At this stage you may think that you are eating healthily, and that there’s nothing wrong with your digestive system but, if you have liver issues, you won’t absorb the nutrients you need to stay healthy.
Much of the food we eat these days is of low quality thanks to production methods and the quality of the soil in which our fresh food is grown.
We then compound this undernourishment with processed foods, alcohol, smoking and not drinking sufficient water. Because of this, we always recommend supplements to our clients; mostly supplements sourced from herbs or plant-based products. We generally work with two preferred suppliers but will research and recommend trusted companies if our usual suppliers don’t have the correct products for your needs. We are also happy to continue with supplements you are already taking, if we feel they are having a positive effect on your body.
